My first time constructing weapons for game under a poly count and map size restriction. I started my process by researching shapes and textures used in space tech/FPS games. I really enjoyed the process and wish to pursue a more organic alienoid weapon for a future OC. I settled on a few designs and here is a bit of the process. The last weapon will be modelled by a friend of mine, I’m excited to see the results that he can pull off in substance painter.
